Berry b. Feb27,1827 ggrandson of William C.Berry b.Oct.19,1776 d.Oct.10,1880 gggrandson of Bradley Berry from Albermarle co.Va. Portions of the information were written by William C.Berry and appear to have been compiled and printed by his grandson,Joseph Henry Berry (Ky.) in 1938. This is all of the information that I have on this family and am trying to fill in the missing information on the more current generations. This is the first chapter ,the remaining chapters follow the line of Lewis Franklin Berry, b.May 25,1828 son of William C.Berry "The Berry Book" Information compiled from W.C.and Joseph Henry Berry,dated 1938. A biographical account of the Berry family Richard Fields married Elizabeth Murrell,sister of Drury Murrell,all natives of Amherst co.Va.After marriage,Mrs .Fields became the mother of four children,namely; Thomas,Joel,Elizabeth (married Bradley Berry of Albermarle co.Va.) and Sarah. Mr.Fields died and his widow married a second time.Her second marriage was to John Gilliam,by whom she became the mother of three sons,namely; Epaphroditus,Cornelius and John. Thomas (Fields),her oldest son married Elizabeth Coffee and emigrated to Wilkes co.NC. where he lived to an advanced age and died leaving a large and respectable family. Joel (Fields) died in the twent first year of his age,leaving no descendants. Sarah (Fields) married Thomas Coffee and shortly after the Revolutionary war,they emigrated to NC.and settled in Wilkes co.NC.,where she became the mother of nine children,sevn sons and three daughters.Her second son Rubin(Coffee) was a distinguished Baptist clergyman,he emi
