Lewis Franklin Berry,son of William C.Berry ,married Sarah Lewis of Spartanburg,SC.this marriage occured about the year, 1848. By this union,5 sons and 2 daughters were born,namely: James Larkin,Ephriam Moore,Cobb Tipton,William Franklin,Joseph Henry,Leticia,Faniah and Georgia Anna. These children were all born in NC. James Larkin ,the oldest,married Miss.Liza Shearer of SC. To this marriage was born 5 children by his first wife,namely: John Cobb Berry,who died unmarried. William George Berry,who married Miss.Hattie Davis and to this union was born 5 children. Thomas Berry died in childhood. Birdie Ida Berry married James Calvin Wallace and to this union was born 3 children. The whereabouts of Joseph Franklin Berry are unknown. James Larkin Berry's second marriage was to Miss.Guy and to this union was born 5 children,namely: Mary Elizabeth Berry,who married Mr.Noah Ellis and to this marriage was born 3 children. Bertha Myrtle,who is now deceased,married Mr.Emory Jackson and to their marriage was born 6 children. Maude Emma Berry married Mr.Walter Dunn and to this union was born 5 children. Bessie Letitia Berry married Mr.Luther Ross,who is now deceased,and to this family was born 2 children. Daisy Dean Berry married Mr.James Daily Ross and to this marriage was born 5 children. Ephriam Moore Berry married Miss.Mollie House of Alabama. William Franklin Berry married Miss.Nancy Milton Bartley of Metcalfe,co.Ky.Aug.25,1877. To this union was born 3 sons, J.F.Berry,Nov.12,1879 V.C.Berry b.Feb.2 1882,died at the age of 4 years. D.H.Berry b.Apr.181884 William Franklin Berry and Mary Milton Berry raised 2 boys,V.C.Berry died at the age of 4 years. William F.Berry and Mary Milton Berry lived a christian life in the Church of Christ. The 2 boys now live in Shawnee,Oklahoma. William Franklin departed this life in the year of 1917,Feb.the 6th,at the age of 62 years,two months and six days old. Mary Milton Berry departed this life Oct.15th,1937,lived 78 years,two months and twenty days. Both were buried in Fairview cemetery,Shawnee,Oklahoma. They lived 29 years in Shawnee,Oklahoma.They came from Kentucky to Oklahomain the year of 1908.
