She became the mother of 9 children,5 sons and 4 daughters,and departed this life on Saturday,Apr.1,1864. Mary Berry was born Mar.22,1820,was married to James b.Sutton on Jan.13,1842 and became the mother of 10 children,2 of whom died in infancy.she died Nov.22 1869. William Mc. Berry was born Feb.27,1822 and was married to Clearissa Williams,daughter of Frederick Williams,of Spartanburg,SC.,by whom he became the father of 4 children,2 sons and 2 daughters.
