Here's the scoop on my g-grandmother, Mollie (Parker) McDaniel: D/o Frank and Sarah (Martin) Parker, born 31 Jul 1889 (Cherokee Co.?), married Ed McDaniel abt 1907, and was the mother of the following children: Felmet (my grandfather), born 18 Oct. 1907 (married Ruby Batchelor on 24 Aug. 1929), Hoyle Jackson, born 13 Jul. 1910 (married Geraldine Bradshaw), Annie (married George Miller), and Guy, born about 1920. Mollie died of pneumonia on 17 Dec. 1933, and is buried near her parents in Hopewell Cemetery. Ed married Jeanette Pennington 02 Mar. 1940, and they had these children: James, Norma Jean, Ray, and Landell Lee, who died 08 May 1965, when he tried to save his son from a burning building.
