He and (wife) had children, Richard (1747), Jesse, MOSES (my gr-gr-gr grandfather), Elisha, Elizabeth (who married a Greenway), George and Jehue and a "Mrs. Thompson" - first name unknown). This family lived around Wash. & Carter Co.s, Tenn. Moses went to Monroe County, Tenn. and received land. I am told you had to have an Indian in the family to receive this land in Monroe County - but have never made any connection. Please tell me where your William was from, and where your Thompson Humphries was located. Aileen
