Black and his wife, Sarah Montgomery Black of Blacksburg. Sarah's parents had a sizable farm and real estate in downtown Blacksburg around the turn of the century. Her father died in 1917 and her mother moved to Simpsonville to live with my grandmother. Sarah and her husband, I believe lived on the Blacksburg farm for a number of years and were still residing there in 1940. Sarah had sisters that married into the Boyd, Morrow and Jones families. She also had a brother E.A. Montgomery of York, SC. I'm hoping to locate any information on the children of Sarah and Clarence and who his family was.
