Married Tabitha believed to be Smith born 1774 and died 1849. Some of their children lived in the Hickory Grove area of Cherokee Co. The children were: 1;Elizabeth Wilkerson married Samuel Burns, Sr.2. Mary Wilkerson born 1803, died 1855. 3.James Wilkerson moved to AL. 4.Charles E. Wilkerson born 1811 and died 1893.,married Sarah M. Smith. 5.Nancy M. Wilkerson, never married 6.Thomas Jefferson Wilkerson born 1812 died 1852, married Lucinda Howell.
