Christopher I have been hunting information on the Roberts family from Cherokee and Spartanburg CO's. So far I have found nothing but my Roberts is Charlie Roberts born about 18 died about 1935 of headaches. He may have been a brother of your John Roberts. My husbands father was John Nesbit Roberts.
