SC Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/SC/Cherokee/98 Surname: Barrett, Hamrick, Wylie, Hamm ------------------------- Thank you all who responded to my Barrett query. I've had several who supplied information and others who have offered to copy documents for me. I've learned that Thomas Jefferson Barrett was the son of Henry Barrett and Rosella Hamm. Zelda Hamrick was the daughter of Eli Hamrick and Charlcey Ann Wylie. Some of their vital, census records are in Cleveland County and some in Cherokee County. This is a great start for me on this new line.

    3. He doesn't show up on the Spartanburg Public Library Indes 1954-56 http://www.spt.lib.sc.us/obits/index.html there are several McDaniel listiings but none in Gaffney I would check with the Shufford-Hatcher Funeral Home since they do by far the most arrangements if not all in Gaffney...they are very nice about checking their files...also the Gaffney Ledger is online and you can e-mail them to see what their archives policies and capabilities are. You should find something in either or both places, Good Luck, Juidy HUSKEY always looking for descendents of Thomas and Barney Huskey, or John and Cynthia Minerva Greenleaf . Johm married first to Nancy Bridges, d/o William Bridges in the York area. era of 1820- 50 of particular interest. ----- From: P.
