Family lines NORRIS, DANIELL, ROBINSON, KELLEY, CREWS, WETHERINGTON, COBB. SAMUEL KELLEY arrived in Charleston from Ireland before 1781 by working for his passage on a ship coming to America. He had some experience in Ireland as an apprentice millwright and was able to obtain a job with the Buggy and Wagon Factory in Charleston. He married a woman named Jane who had also come from Ireland. They moved to Atlanta and later to Jones County, Georgia.
