Buried in courtyard there. Immigrant from Kilkenny, Ireland. Thomas (1817 - 1860) brother of Patrick. Elizabeth (1825- after 1860) sister of Patrick Anna/Anastasia ((1813 - after 1860) sister of Patrick REID Mary Margaret/Mollie (1815 - c.1850) wife of Thomas O'Neill. Possibly immigrated through Manchester, England from Ireland to Charleston, SC. Had son, James Joseph b. 1845, and daughter Mollie, b.? POWER(s) Thomas POWERS m. Mary Maddin at St. Patrick's; married by Patrick O'Neill. Witnessed by Thomas and Mary O'Neill. 1-17-1853 James POWER m. Johanna Collins at St. Patrick's; married by Patrick O'Neill. Witnessed by Paul Kennedy and Mary Ibold. 1-18-1853 Johanna POWER m. Michael Flynn at St. Patrick's; married by Patrick O'Neill. Witnessed by Daniel Fogarty and Johanna Flynn. 1-18-1853 BRANDT Pierre V. (Peter) BRANDT b. Charleston; died of consumption 1884, aged 58, buried at St. Philip's Church. Lived in area of Goose Creek. Wife possibly died 1884 and buried at Trinity. This couple took a young girl, Mary Ann O'NEILL, out of the Charleston Orphanage in 1863. I believe she may have been a relation to Mrs. Brandt and a possible relation to the O'Neill / Reid connection above. Seeking information on the Brandt's for this reason. 1870 census shows: P.V. Brandt, Claudia, Edward P., James W., John F., Enfields, and Eugenia C. enumerated together in the BRANDT household. Any connections or suggestions appreciated.
