    2. Greetings from SC. In the late 1600's four counties were established in SC. They were all aong the coast since the upstate was not settled. Berkeley County included Charles Town, Craven County was to the north of that, Colleton County was to the South, and Granville County was on the Savannah River. URQ << berkeley co is right next to charleston,,,, i think amelia twp is in berkeley co, st helena parish.... i think it is st helena island is about half way between charleston and beaufort..... craven co... there is one in north carolina... don't know where,though... I've found a long print out of land transactions for my ancestors in >Berkeley Co., Craven Co., Amelia Twp, and St. Helena Parish .... all in SC >of course. > >Can someone tell me where these are located?
