One early researcher had their marriage date as 23 Aug. 1743, but no primary source was cited so it should be verified. Elizabeth actually drew up remarkably detailed pre-nuptial agreements for her second and third marriages specifying her property going into the marriage. Seems she was about two and a half centuries ahead of her time. To further complicate the marriage records, Elizabeth's widowed mother (also named Elizabeth Beadon) was the second wife of John Raven, Sr., widower and father of John Raven, Jr. Given the name duplications it's not surprising that there were errors about these marriages in an early issue of the South Carolina Historical and Genealogical Magazine. It may also of interest that several members of this family are mentioned along with Draytons, Middletons, and Manigaults in "The Letterbook of Eliza Lucas Pinckney." "Mrs. Danniel", "Mrs. Cooper", and "Mrs. Evance" are her daughters, Sarah, Mary, and Rebecca, the latter overseeing Charles Cotesworth Pinckney and Thomas Pinckney while they attended schools in England.
