Are there registers / indexes for 1823 marriages of Charleston, SC? I am looking for the marriage records of Benjamin HILDRETH and Jemima DOWLING. It said to have taken place in Charleston, Darlington District or Alabama. Realistically, I believe it was somewhere in SC. Just not sure yet.
