Hello Listers: The following notice appeared in the Charleston Observer, September 24, 1836: Marriages & Deaths, Charleston Observer, 1827-1845, p. 116 [p. 117} On Sunday evening, 18th inst., by the Rev. Wm. Capers, Mr. F. H. Alley, to Miss Elizabeth Jane, daughter of late Wm. Robison, all of this city. I should like to know what church this Rev. Wm. CAPERS was a pastor of so that I might obtain records of my great grandfather F. H. ALLEY, who was born in Gibraltar January 24, 1812, and landed in Charleston, SC with his brother John B. P. ALLEY on November 14, 1817. He and this Elizabeth Jane ROBISON had eight children. Any information about any of these people will be very helpful. Thank you. Joe P. ALLEY [email protected]
