I apologize if you have received this message more than once but I am sending to all the lists I belong. During the war years, many men served in South Carolina reserve units. I have built a site of all such units I cab find, most with rosters of the men who served. I have built a web site at http://www.geocities.com/screbels_1864/SC_Militia.html with some data about the troops (some more than others) and wish to have more. I have some battle and field assignments. If you have data on any of these units and/or the men (and boys) who served, I would love to hear from you. I would love to know what county each was raised from. Researchers have generally over looked them but every county contributed to these units.
