I will be in Charleston this summer - can anyone suggest a place where the European origins of my ancestor, Thomas KICKLIGHTER might be recorded? I know when he arrived in Charleston, the name of the ship, and the port from which he departed with his family, but not his country of origin. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
