Hi, Is there anyone there in Charleston, SC. that would know the address of a yellow house on the corner of Tradd and King which faces Broad St. The other corner building that faces Broad St. is, I believe, a gas station. I was there for a few short hours last summer and found this house that my grandparent had lived in in 1889. I did not think to see what the address was. I also could not tell if the address would be Tradd St. or King St. In the 1900 census he was living at 9 New St. His name was Alexander Richie Haig. So far I have only been able to get the 1900 census on the Haig family. They moved to Charleston in early 1700s from Scotland. My 5th great grandfather was George Haig and his wife was Elizabeth Webb Haig. In the early 1730s George was a land surveyor of District 96- Cherokee Trail. He was killed by the Sennaca Indians in 1948. Thanks for any help. Betty
