Hi Elizabeth, I know you will have plenty to do, but I can not pass up that offer. Anything you find in regards to AXSON, will be a Great Help. Have a wonderful time. Thanks, CJK
I know I've run into the name AXSON in land records already. I try to transcribe and post such records as soon as I get them, and did a rash of postings to various lists last month. At the moment I could not tell you to which list I may have mentioned an AXSON, but perhaps searching the archives will tell us. I am sure in the future I will run across the name again. Just a heads up that when I get back, I'll be posting to this list for the "old Charleston District" names unless I'm told I need to focus on present-day Charleston County only. In that case, my postings will probably go to the SCROOTS list and/or other counties. But I don't want to jam archives and cross-post. So, well, I'll post them SOMEWHERE.
