    1. [SCCHARLE] Cookbook records of family names
    2. D. Aldridge
    3. Hello! If anyone is interested, I have a copy of a cookbook from 1960 which was published by Heathwood Hall School Parents Guild. It has the married names of the contributors, plus, in parentheses, their maiden names. I would be glad to do lookups for anyone who has families from Columbia. Some of the most recognizable names for me are Simons, Gibbes, Lumpkin, Ligon, Stoudenmire, Johnson, DeLoache, Zeigler, Myers, Manning, Matthews, Moore, Finley, Heyward, Boykin, Hopkins, Dent, Jumper, Smith, Seabrook, Benet, Izard, Douglass and Douglas, Guignard, Curry, Clarke, Efird, Bailey, Hampton, Graydon, and Mrs. James F. Byrnes (Maude Busche). There are MANY more. I'm going to try to type them all out in a separate document, but will do lookups in the meantime. I'll even give you a recipe they sent in, if you like. I also have a second revision (1984) of the original Trinity Episcopal Church (Edisto Island) cookbook, which also has some Charleston family names and recipes. By the way, my aunt, Mary Frances (Wilkinson) Meade was the secretary of the church at that time, and typed this entire cookbook on an old, electric typewriter. No computers in the church then! You can contact me personally at dsa2591@iwon.com.
