I have Fisher Gadsden (Oct 25, 1805-Jan 13, 1870; baptised Nov 22, 1805 at St. Philip's, Charleston) as the fourteenth of sixteen children of Philip Gadsden II (1761-Feb 6, 1824) and Catherine Edwards (1766-Mar 17, 1814) who were married Nov 19, 1783; both of Charleston. Fisher's older brother, Christopher Edward Gadsden was elected minister of St. Philip's in 1810 and was Bishop of SC from 1840 to 1852. Brother John was Intendant of Charleston and US District Attorney, and brother James was US Minister to Mexico. I have that Fisher married Laura E. Michau, daughter of Abraham Michau and Mary Stead Allston, (died 1807); and a note that Fisher had thirteen children. Source of much of the above from the St. Philip's Parish Register 1754 to 1810, and if I remember correctly a paper of family records, will have to check. Since this is not in may direct family line, I have not recorded all my sources in the database as yet. I hope this helps a little. I may have a bit more if you need anything specific.
