I find it hard to understand how William had twins John and Jehu in November, 1764 by Susannah Mouzon, then in May, 1765, had Jacob by Mary Minott. Is the 1765 in error? Also, Susannah was said to have been still living and been exiled to Philadelphia when William was imprisoned by the British in 1780(date?). The next definite birth date I have for Mary Minott is 1768 for Samuel Edward. I think there were two William Axsons, perhaps cousins? John Axson's first wife was Martha Ann Arthur. Susannah Elizabeth/Elizabeth Susannah b. Sep. 21, 1746. Maybe that 1802 death date is hers. More puzzles.
