    3. Hi, I don't know if this will help you at all, but know the brick wall feeling! I finally wrote to the SC Archives in Columbia SC and asked them to do a name search in the records they have indexed. That includes land records, marriage contracts (an incredible document) and court judgments .... they have a list they'll look through. I was stunned. I am looking at a pile four inches thick. Have learned so much about my father's family that I don't know when I'll have time to put it all into my Family Tree Maker. Downside: It cost me $100. They bill you after the fact. I figured it was worth it, but that's a personal decision. Good luck, Caroline -----Original Message----- From: Sallie F Matthews <salmatt@juno.com> To: SCCHARLE-L@rootsweb.com <SCCHARLE-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Tuesday, January 25, 2000 10:38 AM Subject: Re: [SCCHARLE] SITE UPDATES >How do I contact the volunteer lookups noted in your e-mail to SCCHARLE >SITE UPDATES dated 24Jan2000? >I have hit a brick wall looking for my gggrandparents, parents of: > Robert William Radcliffe b. abt. 1830 > m.
