I am looking for information on the following individuals: Angus Smith m. Adeline Lawrence, parents of John Gray Smith. Angus Smith was b. in Scotland and Adeline was b. in England. Angus and Adeline had several children. Two of their sons were: John Gray and Angus Smith, both b. in Charleston. John Gray Smith m. Elizabeth Josephine Knapp, parents of Peter S. Smith, b. Oct. 3, 1882, in Charleston, SC. Peter had five other siblings but I only have the names of his brothers to offer at this time: Frank and Grover Smith, also both born in Charleston. Peter W. Knapp m. Cecelia Louisa Crovatt. Peter Knapp's family can be traced to NY and CT. Cecelia's father was Peter Crovatt and he was from Charleston. I have more information to share.
