Lynch and found that he and Elizabeth (Shubrick) Lynch had no children. They were married in 1772 and lost at sea in 1779, so even if they would have had issue, all might have been lost anyway. I then checked his siblings and (from my records) he was probably the only male born to Thomas and Elizabeth/Esther (Allston) Lynch. He had three sisters and may have had three half-sisters, children of his step-mother, Hannah Motte. There were other Lynches in the Ga./S.C. area and I will pass your query on to an S.C. genealogy site where someone else may be able to help. Perhaps they might be able to correct possible errors in my data, as well. I am hoping that you might be able to help me. I am doing research on my maternal side of the family. My mother has told me that she is related to the Thomas C. Lynch who signed the Declaration of Independence for South Carolina, but I am having difficulty finding the connection. My mother is Elizabeth Jane Shelton (Lynch). Her father was Thomas Chaille Lynch, his father was Manassas Clinton Lynch, his father was Thomas Jefferson Lynch and his father was William F. Lynch. I have gotten records from Chicot County Arkansas on William F. Lynch. I now that he married a Mrs. Penina Kidwell and that he was born in Georgia around 1793. Do you have any suggestions on what I can do now? I appreciate any advice that you are able to give to me. Sincerely, Gus.
