    3. Julie: Thanks for answering! The couple you were seeking is Rebecca Briden Stusrt Brockington who m a Ervin Powers. She was the fifth dau of the second wife, Helen Penelope Salter, of Rev. William Brockington Jr.(1795-1867). His fisrt wife's name was Rebecca Tommie and she had six kids before she died. As for the Bradley's; you say they are from Mississippi but in the beginning where did they come from? I've got a book here called "The Bradleys and Related Families of South Carolina" by Sarah Isabelle Bradley Ensworth, which starts out with James Bradley, the progenitor of the line, came from Downs County, Ireland, and settled in Williamsburg, SC, with Roger Gordon in 1734. I just feel that SC played a part in the Bradley's growth in MS. I have some Edwards in MS.
