I was in hopes that someone (anyone) could give me information on my family. They came from Minden Prussia in 1842/3. My Great-grandfather, Louis Sherfesee served in Civil War. I have lots on him. I seemed to have come across a connection w/ the Boyds in the 1900 Census. Johanna Scherfesee Boyd. I don't have any clue when or who she married, but her sister, Elvina (who apparently never married) was living w/ them then. There were 2 daughters born to Johanna (Rose or Rosalie and Elvina Boyd). They too apparently never married as are buried in Magnolia Cemetery w/ many Sherfesee's. My GGGrand parents were August and Charlotte Sophia Scherfesee (that came from Prussia. I'm coming to Charleston from Houston next week just to do Genealogy research. If anyone can give me leads I would appreciate it.
