Have been searching many years for the parents of my Charleston rope making ancestor, Jesse Nell b. 1754 va., m. 1795 Charleston, d. 1823 Charleston. The name could have possibly been Neil or Neel. Jesse is somehow connected to the Brown, Broughton, and Lloyd families.
