He married Mary Ann FLOYD 2 April 1844. They were in the 1850 and 1860 Census' for New Hanover County (Wilmington District) NC. In 1860 their ages were 41 and 31 Their children were Kate 6(my grandmother), John 3 and Robert 3/12. Now, how do I find their birthdates and who their parents were (marriage certificate?) My mother told me they were from Charleston SC. Mary Ann's mother may have been Patsy Rogers. Really appreciate any help you can offer. I am thrilled at finding them.
