I have a list of court summary judgments for some of my ancestors and have noticed several in which "Mary, wife of Samuel Jones, renunciation to George Smith." No property is listed. No amounts of money are noted. The dates are between 1735 and 1815. What is this about, please? Could somebody explain? Thank you, Caroline
