Book A-3, p. 1 HUGH ANDERSON, carpenter, & ANNE his wife, to 23 April 1751 FRANCIS KINLOCH, ESQ., both of Charleston, for L1050 currency, the E part of a part of lot #66 in Charleston, bounding S 32 ft. 6 3/4 in. on Queen Street; E on the part belonging to FRANCIS KINLOCH; N 31 FT. 9 3/4 in. on St. Philips churchyard & FRANCIS KINLOCH; W 110 ft. on HUGH ANDERSON. Whereas MARY MULLINS owned part of lot #66, & by will dated 21 Nov. 1730 bequeathed to her niece, SARAH HEXT, wife of HUGH HEXT, the other half; & after MARY'S death, SUSANNAH & SARAH owned the part of said lot in joint tenancy; & whereas HUGH HEXT died & SARAH married ANDREW RUTLEDGE & the lot was divided between GEORGE HADDRELL & SUSANNAH his wife & ANDREW RUTLEDGE & SARAH his wife, the E part being allotted to RUTLEDGE, the W to HADDRELL; & whereas ANDREW & SARAH RUTLEDGE by L & R dated 12 & 13 Nov. 1733 sold their share to RIBTON HUTCHINSON , merchant, of Charleston, in trust for said ANDREW RUTLEDGE; & whereas by L & R dated 29 & 30 May 1750 ANDREW RUtLEDGE sold the E part to HUGH ANDERSON; now ANDERSON sells to KINLOCH. Witnesses: JAMES MOULTRIE, EDWARD SWAN. Proved by MOULTRIE 3 May 1763 before ROBERT WILLIAMS, J.P. Recorded 6 May 1763 by WILLIAM HOPTON, Register.
