    2. Hi Cynthia, I just saw the e-mail you wrote to someone else. I am trying to learn about Susan Porcher who was married to Robert Mckewn Haig. I would love to know who her parents were. There is also a Susan McKewn Haig that married Lawrence Toomer. They were all from Charleston and the Low Country area. Susan Haig Toomer is buried in the same cemetery that my gt.grandparents were. I can not figure if she is a child of an uncle or a Gt uncle. I wrote the cemetery and they only had her listed in the grave site, but no record of who her parents were. Would yoou have either of these names? Or, if you do not mind could I have your list of Porchers in case I see anymore on these people that could tie things together? Thanks so much Betty

    1. Re: [SCCHARLE] St. Philips Church
    2. There is not a compiled list of St. Philips cemetery on the web or in book form. The only compilation is at the Church office. It is located between St. Philips and the French Hugenot Church. The list is very sporatic and it accompanies a VERY LARGE hand drawn map of the cemetery. Very hard to read. I have been down this path many times with St. Philips and it is not fun. I would suggest you bring a magnify glass. They are very nice people, just not very well versed in their cemetery. If I can be of any help, just email me and I will do what I can. I live in Charleston and have been to the cemetery hundreds of times. Look forward to hearing from you. 2. Richard & Jeannette Byrd
    3. Dear list member: Can anyone tell me if there is a complete listing on the internet for persons buried at St. Philips Church at 142 Church St? If not, does anyone have a book listing everyone buried there. I would like to verify the burial of an Aaron Barton in April of 1834 in the church cemetery. His wife, Jane (Livel) Barton may also be buried there. I am planning a trip to Charleston to get the information from their tombstones, and I would like to verify that they are buried at St. Philips. Richard V. Byrd
