We have traced the family so far to my Great Grreat Grandfather born approx 1837 in Bristol, England. Name Edward Dash. There are many members of his family traced also from that area with the same surname..interestingly, which is why i am posting this is that they came from a small town in England called Berkeley. If u have any more information that u think may be relevant please can u let me know..or maybe this is just a querk.
