My interest is in the HAYNES family. I am trying to find the parents and siblings of my GGG grandfather COLLETT HAYNES b abt 1785 NC/KY/VA??? not sure where the census give different places. The earliest date I have for him is in MO 1819. He settled in Clinton Co MO where he died abt 1855-60?? I was hoping someone had a will or estate sale with his name listed. With the name COLLETT, I'm going out on a limb here, BUT, I am trying to find a connection to the COLLETT family with maybe he was named after his mothers maiden name. Anyway, if you find any thing on the COLLETT-HAYNES marriage in that area, let me know. Thanks for your time!
