John J. Ballentine, b. about 1781, married, about 1811, Rulaney Unknown who was born about 1792. Would like to share with anyone on this family group. Especially need Rulaney's maiden name. From the book "Of The Society of Harry's Meeting House Commencing January 1st 1807, Cypress Circuit" I find on a page titled "Received on Trial" the name "John Vallentine, Joined September 5, 1845." I also find "John Balentine" and "Laney Ballentine" in the "Married Class" with "Stephen Williams, Class Leader" with a date of September 5, 1811." In the class with them are Ezekiel Smith and James and Anne Brabham. Could Rulaney have been born a Brabham? George H.
