I don't presently have a George W. or William C. Drury in my data, but this may prove helpful to another Drury researcher. I am posting it to this list because the will references his father as William C. DRURY who held property in that county. My DRURYs, so far, came form England to Anne Arundel and Prince Georges Co., MD and then to D. C. Interestingly, a collateral line does have a BERKELEY (surname, not county) marriage. Drury Be it remembered, that I, George W. Drury, of Washington, District of Columbia, being of lawful age an of sound and disposing mind and memory, but mindful of the uncertainty of life, do make, publish and declare this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made. After the payment of my just debts, funeral expenses, and expenses of administration of my estate, I dispose of my estate as follows: - I give, devise and bequeath to my wife, Ida B. Drury, all of my personal estate wheresoever situated, including my distributive share of the proceeds of sale of the land in Berkeley County, State of South Carolina, said money being now in the hands of the Trustees. I give and devise to my wife, Ida B. Drury, all of my interest in the land in Lake County, State of Florida, containing twelve (12) acres of land, more or less, absolutely and in fee simple, the title to said land being held by the Trustees for the purpose of selling and making distribution, this piece of land and the aforesaid tract of land in South Carolina being a part of the Estate of my father, William C. Drury, deceased. The rest, residue and remainder of my estate, real and personal, which I have not disposed of in this will, or which I may own or be entitled to at the time of my death, I hereby give, devise and bequeath absolutely and in fee simple, to my wife, Ida B. Drury. Lastly, I hereby constitute and appoint John W. Glennan, executor of this my last will and testament.
