We also do not know Magdalene's last name. It appears they could have been from Schwabish Hall, Germany..a Peter Sandel and Magdalene Wideman appear on the baptismal rolls or confirmation rolls of that German Lutheran church(Schwabish Hall), making them born about 1723..they died after 1783..Some of their land was in old Berkeley county.Their early records are in The History of Orangeburg SC by Salley; their 1st four children baptisms, therein; their last 4 at St.Pauls in Charleston county. They were granted many acres of land..and John Peter Sandel furnished forage for the Am.Revolution troops. This is a proven DAR line, with someone joining on this record. My deceased husband Rev.Elias Wesley Sandel a direct descendant of John Peter Sandel from his son George Henry Sandel, who migrated to Pike County, Ms..George's son Rev. Peter Sandel migrated to Walker County, Texas in early 1850's..Rev.Peter's son Wm.Fletcher..to John Oliver..to Jesse Oliver Sandel his(Rev.E.W.Sandel's father) in Sabine Parish,La./ . We are also trying to learn about Catherine Nobles, who m. George Henry Sandel..who were her parents..was her name ever Knobles?? She is buried in John Felder Campground Cemetery, Summitt, Ms. Her daughter Elizabeth m.
