He was born in SC in 1793, moved to TN in early 1800's and married Jane ?. They had children born in TN, Henderson, bn 1817, James, bn 1820, William, bn c1820, Simpson bn 1823, Mary Ann, bn 1826, and Wallace bn 1835 in IL. He moved to IL then to MO. He died in Dent Co., MO in 1871. His birth county in SC is unknown. If you can shed any light on his birthplace and especially his father who was foreign born, I would appreciate it.
