Horton of Beaufort Also surviving are step-daughter, Mary (May) Horton Smith of Beaufort. One brother, W. S. Gibson (Simmie) and three sisters, Myrtle G. Mixon of Cummings, Marie G. Heape of Sheldon, and Mary G. Mixson of Cummings. 5 grandchildren, 7 stepgrandgrandchildren, 10 gr-grandchildren, 16 stepgreat-grandchildren, and 13 stepgreat-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Lowe worked in the Beaufort Elementary School lunch room and at the Beaufort Memorial Hospital (17 years) as a Dietician Aide.
