Smith (Harry Smith and Mary (May) Horton Smith) of Beaufort--and Mrs. R. P. Hampton of Johns Island (Norma Horton) also survive. Two son, Fred G. and Charles E. Horton, of Beaufort also survives. Mr. Horton had 6 grandchildren. He worked for Morrall Furniture Co. Burial: Evergreen Cemetery, Beaufort, SC Note: Clarence Fred Horton was first married to Mittie Altman in Oct. of 1914. Mittie and a son, Clarence Jr. were buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Beaufort, SC. Clarence Fred Horton was b. 12-22-1890 and d. 10-12-1953
