I am seeking any kind of information on my gtgt grandparents, Jacob G. (Gholsten) and Mary Moore Elliott and my gtgtgt grandparents, Samuel and Anna Moore. These people were all in Benton County, Alabama, in the mid 1830s. Mary Moore Elliott was the daughter of a Samuel and Anna Moore. Samuel Moore was a Baptist Preacher and farmer and he/they had four daughters. Jacob Elliott was supposed to be of native American blood. The Moores had known ties back to the Carolinas.
