I have reason to believe they are. First, Elizabeth Bythewood (b. 1800 in SC) is buried in the Cole Cemetery in Bosque, Texas. And someone noted that she was a cousin to Milton H. Cole and his siblings (with no details). Also, both Coles and Bythewoods are buried in the Beaufort (SC) Baptist Chuch Yard. Finally, James P. Cole (b. 1814 in SC, later of Galveston) (Milton's father) married a Mary J Graham (b. 1824 in SC, buried in Bosque), daughter of James Graham who was a pastor at the Beaufort (SC) Baptist Church where Daniel Bythesood was Reverend -- names indicate a connection to James Graham Bythewood of SC. I am hoping someone can fill in the missing link here -- I've been racking my brain and scouring the internet to no avail. Thanks in advance for any information.
