Born on 24 Dec 1886 or 1888 in Hampton Co. SC. He is in Bulloch Co. GA 1900 with his parents and 1910 with wife and one daughter. Jacob Moses registered for WWI draft in Jacksonville, Duval Co. FL in 1918. died in Jacksonville on 1 Aug 1949. Reportedly buried in Restlawn Cem., Jacksonville. ——————————————————————————————— Second Generation 2 James Solomon F. “Jim” Horton. Born on 22 May 1856 in SC. Another researcher says he died 20 Mar 1902 and is bur. Red Hill Cem., Grays, Jasper Co. SC. He and his family are in 1900 Bulloch Co. GA census where he is called Solomon. married 3 Ida Gray. Born in Mar 1858. They had seven children. ———————————————————————————————— Third Generation 4 Moses Horton. Born ca 1831 in SC, prob. Beaufort Co. Moses died aft 1880. Occupation: farmer. married 5 Jane C. Tuten. Born ca 1843. Jane C. died aft 1880.
