Washington, Jr. Charles E. Washington was apparently an attorney and also my father's first cousin. I was 8 when my father died in 1971. My father was 18 years older than my mother. He did not tell her a lot about his family. As far as I know everyone on his side of the family is dead. I am hoping that there are descendents of his mother and father's relatives out there somewhere because I would like to put together the puzzle pieces of my history. If anyone has any information on Charles E. Washington, Jr. or his siblings or descendents I sure would appreciate it. The following is all that I know: MY GRAND PARENTS Sammie(Sam or Samuel) Bryan born abt. 1880 Mamie Washington Bryan born abt. 1887 MY DAD Hammond David Bryan born abt. 1918 MY UNCLES Sam Bryan born abt 1914 Nelson Bryan born abt. 1915 A DAUGHTER OF MY GRANDPARENTS THAT SHOWS UP IN THE 1920 CENSUS BUT WAS NEVER MENTIONED BY MY FATHER Eloise Alston born abt. 1904 MY FATHER'S FIRST COUSIN Charles E. Washington, Jr. 805 Duke Street Beaufort, South Carolina That address was on the 1953 letter to my father.
