Have not come across LINDY, but then I have not come across ANY BROWNS who claim my ggrandmother, CHARATA BROWN, b 1822 NC. It was just brought to my attention that my ancestors were born in SC tho NC is listed----------this all is so strange, as I am not even certain where my ggrandfather, WM LAWRENCE WEELDON, Black, was born altho I suspect he was a slave of the WHEELDON/WHILDEN family of Sumter and Christ Church.
