GA/father GA/mother GA occ: Foreman Lumber yard wife Pearlie A. age 22 first married at age 16 b. SC/father SC/ mother SC son William J. age 5 b. SC/GA/SC son Raymond age 3 yrs 5 months b. SC/GA/SC son Cecil age 1 yr 10 months b. GA/GA/SC brother-in-law Ruby Bradham age 20 b. SC/SC/SC occ: laborer Lumber yard The next household is an Ellis Cooler age 25 with wife Jessie. The household above William Davis is probably a younger brother. Rufus L. Davis age 36 first married at age 30 b. GA/GA/GA occ: Laborer Lumber yard wife Allie M. age 22 first married at age 18 b. SC/SC/SC So it looks like your Will is Willam and his marriage to Pearl was his second. Looks like he first married abt 1901/02. You can get their death certificates, have you contacted the cemetery where your father is buried to see if he had any Military Honors? If he did and even if he didn't, contact the Jasper County Veterans Office, usually located in the County Court House, to see if he filed his DD214 (Discharge papers) with them to recieive the G.I. and Veterans Benefits due him from his service. I'll do some further searching when I have some more time. Good Luck D. Simmons ancestryseeker at gmail dot com Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 3. Diane, I have some Stanyarnes in my files. Will get back to you when I get caught up a bit. Send me your e-mail address and I will correspond directly with you unless there are others who need Stanyarne information. St. Helena's is still standing and the cemetery occupants are listed at Find A Grave. I search by state and county then name when I go their. Also try the Beaufort Library SC Room. They do have e-mail and might be able to help some. Was down there today.
