Hello All: If you want to buy American you might consider purchasing a Kodak. I have been told Kodak Cameras contain Texas Instrument (TI) microchips. Kodak cameras appear to be reasonably priced and the pictures from them that I have seen appear to be very good. Of course, although they contain TI chips I do not know where they are actually put together. Bill
