I hope that someone can help me with a problem I can’t seem to solve. I’m using Window XP, Microsoft Word 2000, Canon Scan LiDe 500F, and finally Omni page SE2.0 My problem is that when I was in Word I clicked on Omni page SE 2.0 (acquire) just to see what it was. There was a picture on my scanner glass and now I have that scanned up into a document in word. I do not want this document but it is my worse nightmare and continues to pop on the screen every time I open word. I can click the document close and when I click to create a new document instead a blank page I get this document back. I have tried saving and then going in and deleting the file. Then closing window and logging-off. When I log on and open window my dreaded file is back. I have uninstalled Office Pro and Omni Page and took of all window files from my computer. I have restarted my computer and reinstall just Office Pro then open window and my dreaded picture document is right their. My scanner is only a few months old and Omni page Se2.0 was a program that with it. The scanner starts up when you turn on your computer. I’ve only been using XP for 6 month so I’m still learning it. Have used word with no trouble for over a year. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of this file that seems to be locked in? Leita
