If you are going to take a lot of pictures in a day you need to think about batteries and cards (storage). I have taken pictures of all the markers in a cemetery in a single day. That took four sets of batteries and over 500 megs of storage for each of the larger cemeteries. I also had my laptop along. Below are the URLs of the cemetery photos. They were taken with an old Kodak DC280. I am looking for a new digital SLR camera. http://www.rootsweb.com/~neknox/cemeteries/hope/ http://www.rootsweb.com/~neknox/cemeteries/grimton/ http://www.rootsweb.com/~neknox/cemeteries/olcott/ Go to Digital Photograph Review, http://www.dpreview.com/ click on Buying Guide, then Side by Side. Select cameras that you may be interested in and do the comparison. Once you have taken the picutes consider making them available to others on the web. One place to do that is the USGenWeb http://www.dpreview.com/ Select the appropriate state and county. Someone should be able to help you from there. T.
