Okay What do you think you do with your scanner that others do not? Everybody, Give us YOUR tips and techniques. I have 2 scanners. One is a Acer that has been packed away and the other is a combination scanner/copier/fax, etc. by Dell A940. I have a HP 5470 scanner, and I love the buttons on it, scanning to E-Mail is very easy, also the scan to printer, which are the two I have used most. >From within Photo Elements I "acquire" a picture from the scanner. Also from within the program Legacy, I acquire pictures from the scanner. If very much work is needed on the picture, I go through Elements. Its true you can really learn only by doing, but a few tips are helpful. I haven't quite mastered storing my pictures in the best places, but I have worked on it, and making some progress, but the accumulation needs more attention. Helen Allen

But having done much since my hard drive died and I need to rebuild everything and save it to a CD . . . I need to take my own advise, huh? What version are you using? I save photos all over the place . . . My Pictures, Image expert, etc. But I have to remember to change the title from the date to a catch phrase in order to find what I'm looking for instead of looking for a "needle in a hay stack" Jake
